Silicon calcium alloy is mainly used for steel-making and cast iron production.The affinity of calcium and silicon with oxygen is very large, and
the deoxidation products are easy to float and easy to discharge.
So the deoxidizing steel liquid of silicon calcium alloy is pure.
When the high quality steel and special alloy are made, the silicon
calcium alloy is used as deoxidizer.

Silicon Calcium Function
1. Since calcium has a strong affinity with oxygen, sulfur,
hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon in liquid steel, silicon calcium
alloy is mainly used for deoxidization, degassing and fixation of
sulfur in steel fluid.
2. It is widely used in high quality steel, low carbon steel,
stainless steel production and nickel base alloy, titanium alloy
and other special alloy production.
3. In cast iron production,the calcium silicon alloy have
inoculation effect.helped to form fine grained or spheroidal
graphite; in the grey cast iron Graphite distribution
uniformity,reduce chilling tendency,and can increase
silicon,desulfurization,improve the quality of cast iron.
