Three reasons for lowering the electrode when high-carbon ferrochrome is tapped
Many people have a certain understanding of high-carbon ferrochrome, but because they are not engaged in this industry, they do not know much about its smelting process, especially why the electrode should be lowered when high-carbon ferrochrome is tapped. When smelting high-carbon ferrochrome, the tapping time is about ten to twenty minutes. If the tapping time process is properly grasped, it will not only reduce the temperature of the furnace bottom, but also reduce the time of smelting high-carbon ferrochrome. Therefore, in order to ensure the tapping time, the electrode will be lowered. There are three detailed reasons for lowering the electrode.
